Solbac contains spores and toxins from Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti). They are levied by insects during their feeding collect, arrive in the intestines and prevents the absorption of food. Bti are specific to mosquito larvae (gnats, mosquitoes, Simulium). Other organisms in the soil or water are not affected. At temperatures above 25 ° C, is more effective than Solbac-Traunem nematodes. Must apply plenty of water during the processing of crops.
